Well, I'm sure some of you have noticed that I've missed an update.

Aaaaactually, I haven't.

Simple truth is, I now have a site specifically for My Mediocre Mind, which is where I will be posting all new strips. I'll still be loading fan art, sketches, doodles, design concepts, etc to this DA page, but it will be more infrequent.

Well, out of pure curiosity I've been wondering which version of the comic people prefer, B&W or colored. Turns out the answer is, shockingly enough to me, black and white!

While I find this kind of frustrating (I put a lot more time into a colored comic), it's also really interesting. I'm not sure if it's just a matter of my particular style working best with that kind of contrast or if it's just a whim of those folks who actually read it, but that pretty much settles it for me. I'll be focusing on doing mostly B&W from now on unless, for some reason, I feel a particular strip NEEDS to be colored to give the proper effect.

Anyway, I'm actually going to be out of town (and away from a scanner) for a couple of weeks as of tomorrow morning, but I'm going to try and get Saturday's comic, as well as most of next week's, done as much as I can today. I make no promises as to how well that will go (currently going through a bit of a rough detox, which leaves my hands a little shaky), but I DO promise to be at least putting up some filler or other pieces over my time away.

Oh, also, if anyone is curious as to the progress of each strip while I'm doing it, your best bet is to follow me on Twitter!

Yes, the three-a-week schedule is the current plan. Every week there will be three strips posted but, because I am still naught but a meager wage-slave who likes to make funny doodles, I can't give exact days the three will be uploaded.

I'm hoping to aim for something like a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule (which will be possible in those days in which I have the time to just do two-three comics in a sitting all the way through), but considering my ever-fluctuating work schedule I can't promise that. Rather than constantly apologize** for late comics by "making up for it" with an "early" comic uploaded at the same time as the already overdue strip, I'm just saying "Thrice Weekly, At Random".

*For all three people who read this thing.
** I REGRET NOTHING HAHAHAHAHA!

I have the script finished, but seeing as it's midnight and I'm contending with a livingroom full of strangers playing music when I have work in the morning, this isn't the right time for any real drawing.
